New Experiences

So a crazy busy week has finished… and looking ahead to next week… it’s even worse! Worse is not really the word for it, I actually like being really busy as it keeps me occupied, which keeps the mental gremlins and inner turmoil at bay (the life of a tortured artist is never straight forward!), the fact that it also reflects a degree of success and also comes with financial reward is possibly not to be overlooked either. But anyway, it’s been a great week and so long as the weather doesn’t completely collapse on us next week I am rather looking forward to it’s continuation.

I didn’t quite get everything done this week that I had hoped after a minor boo boo resulted in a revisit to a house in Moray on Friday morning. I managed to get most the calls out the way whilst driving that I had scheduled but I have still to find time for some floorplans that a couple of clients require (a kind of side business really), and I really need to get on to my insurance company about a destroyed 360 camera too - I have bought a spare in the interim but it is a bit second hand and not as good as a new one would be… and not as good as the one that was broken when it fell over either.

There is more going on too though. I am up for my professional qualifications in October and have started the ball in motion for that, which is pretty exciting stuff and may open some doors… or may just give me a wee bit of extra kudos. Plus I may be making my first foray into the fine art world this or next year too - which is where I always planned to be moving towards but commercial photography is an easier place to establish oneself and actually earn something of a living!

Here are some of this weeks commercial photographs. And speaking of the fine art side of things… I may launch that under another website/moniker… I just haven’t decided which of my domain names I will use for it as yet! Possibly my newly acquired waywardspirit.studio…
