Summer is over

Well, so far as the kids are concerned anyway!

Yes, this was the last week of the school holidays, and the quiet theme of the last couple of weeks has rolled on into this one as well. I am really hoping that things turn around next week or August is looking pretty bleak! On the plus side it has given me the space to build the Studio website which is to become home to my art photography. I still need to populate the galleries but I am planning on new works for those rather than linking back to the past. I want to shoot fresh imagery as I move forward with new purpose. I have included a print sales section and, for now, that is something of a “greatest hits” selection of photography spanning the last couple of years. There aren’t a huge number on there yet, and I plan on having two ranges. One will be a series of limited edition prints which were produced on digital cameras and processed through the digital darkroom software I have available to me. The other series will be analogue, taken on film, processed by hand and printed locally. These will be framed by an Inverness based company and sold with the negative displayed in the mounting below the photograph, and the negative will carry the signature so that the buyer knows that this is the only copy of that piece in existence. I am hugely excited about this as a concept and looking forward to embarking on creating these works!

But for now I will just show you this weeks commercial output.
