First (proper) week 2026

The year really woke up this week, the previous was very disjointed with schools going back - then not going back due to snow - so nobody really seemed keen on kicking off the year by marketing property. All that changed this week though as normality returned!

One of my clients is offering a free home report for instructions and that really seems to have lit a bonfire under potential clients which has been great! My new clients have also been putting a little work my way, a situation that I am hoping is only going to build over the coming weeks, and the agency even sent me one… but in all honesty… I think when they come asking for renewal documents this year I may just let that one slide. The odd job here and there for peanuts isn’t worth the hoops that I need to jump through. It would be a nice safety net if the volume was there, but without the numbers it just doesn’t make sense - and I would be better off using that time I spent on it on something else entirely (such as my fine art business that is still very embryonic, or the not yet concieved workshops!)
