Awards

I recieved the page from The BIPP magazine this week from the October awards.

It came at a good time as I was starting to feel that creeping imposter syndrome again, it’s really not uncommon in the arts, but it does bite quite hard. I am starting to build up to shoot for my next panel now, which probably won’t be ready until 2027, and I am hoping that the photographs submitted next time will all be printed by hand from 6x12 negatives.

Today I had a bit of a boost to my campaign ideas as I submitted a photograph in the style I am intending into The BIPP monthly image competition in January - it was shot digitally as I was testing out some ideas at the time, but achieved a Commended result, which I am pretty happy with all things considered!
