That Was Unexpected

I wasn’t expecting this week to be particularly good… infact… I wasn’t expecting this month to be particularly good. An absolute blitz at the marketing along with some word of mouth reccomendations has seen the situation turn around really nicely though - which is just as well, because as a 50 year old I suspect the traditional jobs market is probably more or less closed to me now (plus I have been self employed for so long I don’t think ANYONE would want me in an office environment these days, even if my experience wasn’t 20 years out of date!)

So - commercial photography it is then!

This week has mostly been localish and over towards Nairn, nothing too drastic, but we have been short on child care options for the second week of Easter so that is fine. One of the good things about property work is that most people try and time selling homes until the kids are back in school, so whilst I am often nicely busy over the holiday periods I am rarely flat out - although as it happens I did stack everything into one day this week to a large extent when I didn’t need to worry about the boys!

Here is some of what I have been up to this week then - and there have been some cracking properties, at least one of which is going to be making it into the portfolios soon!
