Post Holiday Holiday Required

Yes, that first week back from adventures and I am absolutely shattered! It has been a pretty heavy week to be fair though!

The ailing PC continues to ail and really needs to be either replaced or supplemented soon. I have so many ideas about which way to go that I am ending up more confused than ever! I am tempted to just get a “good enough” laptop as a backup for the moment and wait for prices to improve - the cost of memory and drives is utterly terrifying at the moment! There are some interesting things out there though, depending on whether they are enough for the tasks at hand, mainly in the ARM processor direction.

I am really wanting to try Capture One following a workshop I attended online this week too, but I don’t want to add more systems to my already failing PC incase it pushes it over the edge! I think I will give it another week or so of thought, get this month’s invoices in, and then come to some kind of a decision.

Anyway, nicely busy week and next is shaping up to be more interesting than I expected a few hours ago with a trip off to Skye on Tuesday and Helmsdale on Wednesday! I still need to catch up with the Iceland photos and must start creating web size images of my work so that I can upload examples and rebuild my galleries more easily! This is where Capture One looks like a real winner as it happens!
