So the news for this week, because I haven’t been working, is that I was awarded my Licentiateship of the British Institute of Professional Photography on Wednesday! This is just the first step in my plan, and whilst I had dreamed that I may manage to snag an Associateship I know where I missed out on going further this time… and it was largely down to selecting the wrong work and pushing that a bit far as is often the case with more commercially driven photography as opposed to my fine art work.

But this was what I needed… now I can start looking to the next steps - which are twofold. Firstly speaking to some universities about what my options are in terms of stepping up to a BA - and determining which institution is going to be the best fit for what I am wanting to achieve. I am also going to start working on my next panel to achieve that Associateship!
