Back to routine
Much as the school holiday’s are fun… I am glad when they are over and I can get back to more of a usual routine. Except this week was not really all that routine as I spent an awful lot of it filming rather than photographing! A large chunk of the filming is for a long term project that will see completion later this year and is a community piece that I am working on for the village’s posterity. Even with that, and a return visit to another filming job that I am still tweaking to “get right” for the client (this is a case of learning what they want and trying to adapt what I do to suit their corporate image) - these return visits are included in the initial price - it has been a pretty productive week.
I seem to be getting less and less of the agency work coming through to me, which would have been a worry - but I am getting more work direct from clients now so I can live without it. Not quite enough to throw my towel in all together yet - or at least not enough that I would feel entirely comfortable letting it go - but we are probably into the survival zone without. I think I am mostly keeping it as the jobs they tend to send me now are those out in the boonies and I enjoy those jaunts!
Other things going on? AirBnB are chasing me to do some stuff for them, which I am looking at and putting some ideas together for. Nothing from the new client as yet so I must chase them next week… and I think that is about it for now! So here are some of the photos from this last week.

Next week - the run to the month end is usually quite busy, although there isn’t too much pressing just now and some of the work I am expecting may slip back a few days.
