the sliding seasons
We have reached the end of August… it has not been the best month work wise.. it has not been the best month weather wise either come to think of it! But the schools are all well and truly back now so, hopefully, September will be a little busier! I think I ended this month having done about half of my target workload (that which I am aiming for as an average for this year). It’s not a disaster, but it isn’t where I want to be either. Unfortunately there is not a great deal I can do about it as this is a cyclical market which is why I am looking to expand into other areas over the next year or so to give me a little more balance and a little more resilience to market forces.
Anyway, next month is hopefully going to see the start of the autumn rush as people look to get moved before Christmas. September and October are usually pretty strong, with November potentially being similar before the dead season of December and January… last year that pushed through February too mind! I was panicking before it picked up again!
Anyway, here is the last set of images from the month, and the last set from summer as the air is already changing towards cooler mornings and a little mist. I love autumn and hope to see both a lot of work and also a lot of personal projects to help me get the art side of things off the ground!
